Il Sun Moon 문일선

Il Sun Moon is a London-based moving image artist and lecturer in digital media at Kingston University London. Her work explores the poetics of dailiness, atmosphere and fragmented subjectivity, drawing on portable devices and non-linear montage to trace the subtle textures of everyday life. She recently completed a practice-based PhD in Film and Photography at Kingston, examining diaristic practice as a site of affective and perceptual transformation of atmosphere. Works have been exhibited at the Stanley Picker Gallery and The Penny Gallery, and presented as multiscreen installations and visual essays in screenings such as Atmosphere and Sensation and Reimagining Post-Cinematic Environments.
